Follow these three steps before using your headset:1. Charge your headset2. Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone (refer to themanual for your Mobile phone)3. Pair your headset to your mobile phoneENGLISHGETTING STARTEDThe Jabra Talk 15 is easy to operate. The answer/end buttonon the headset performs different functions depending onhow long you press it.InstructionDuration of pressTapPress brieflyDouble Tap2 quickly repeated tapsPressApprox: 1 secondPress and holdApprox: 5 secondsCHARGE YOUR HEADSETMake sure that your headset is fully charged for two hoursbefore you start using it. Use the supplied USB cableto charge from a computer. When the battery indicatorhas a solid red light, your headset is charging. When theheadset is fully charged the battery indicator turns solidgreen for five minutes and is then turned off.Please note: The lifetime of the battery will be significantlyreduced if your device is left uncharged for a long period.We therefore recommend that you recharge your device atleast once a month.4

- Slide the on/off button towards the symbol “I” to turnthe headset ON. When you do so both indicators willflash on the Jabra StatusDisplay .- Slide the on/off button towards the symbol “O” to turnthe headset off.ENGLISHTURNING YOUR HEADSET ON AND OFFPAIRING IT WITH YOUR PHONEHeadsets are connected to phones using a procedurecalled ‘pairing’. By following a few simple steps, a phone canbe paired with a headset in a matter of minutes.1 Put the headset in pairing mode- When you turn on your Jabra Talk 15 for the first time,the headset will automatically start up in pairing mode –i.e. it is discoverable for your phone. When the headset isin pairing mode the Bluetooth status indication on theStatusDisplay is flashing.2 Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra Talk 15- Follow your phone’s instruction guide. First make surethat Bluetooth is activated on your mobile phone. Thenset your phone to discover new devices. This usuallyinvolves going to a ‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menuon your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’ or‘add’ a Bluetooth device.*3 Your phone will find the Jabra Talk 15- Your phone will find the headset under name “Jabra Talk15”. Your phone then asks if you want to pair with theheadset. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ on the phone.You may be asked to confirm with a passkey or PIN.Then use 0000(4 zeros). Your phone will confirm when pairing iscomplete and the Bluetooth status indication on theStatusDisplay will shift from flashing light to steadylight and the headset voice guidance will say “connected”.* Phone dependent5

If you wish to use the headset with a different phone, or ifthe pairing process was interrupted, you can manually setthe headset to pairing mode.Make sure the headset is on. Press and hold the answer/endbutton for approximately 5 seconds until the Bluetooth icon turns from a steady light to a flashing light. Then repeatsteps 2 and 3 in the above pairing guide.ENGLISHManual pairing modeConnecting with your phonePairing is only needed the first time a headset and phoneare used together. When the headset and phone have beenpaired once, they will automatically connect when theheadset is on and Bluetooth is activated on the phone. Theheadset can be used when it is “connected” to the phone. Ifthe devices are paired, but do not immediately connect, tapthe answer/end button. When your headset is connected theBluetooth connection icon in the Jabra StatusDisplay willbe constant for 3 seconds and the headset voice guidancewill say “connected”.WEARING STYLEThe Jabra Talk 15 is ready to be worn with or without the earhook. The ear hook can be removed and the headset can beused with the eargels.The eargels can be used for both left and right wearing. Theeargels come in two different styles to fit any ear. You can alsotwist the eargel slightly to optimize the fit and comfort.For optimal performance, wear the Jabra Talk 15 and yourmobile phone on the same side of your body or within lineof sight. You will get better performance when there are noobstructions between your headset and your mobile phone.6

Answer a call- Tap the answer/end button on your headset to answer acall.End a call- Tap the answer/end button to end an active call.ENGLISHHOW TOReject a call*- Press the answer/end button when the phone ringsto reject an incoming call. Depending on your phonesettings, the person who called you will either beforwarded to your voice mail or will hear a busy signal.Make a call- When you make a call from your mobile phone, the callwill (subject to phone settings) automatically transfer toyour headset. If your phone does not allow this feature,tap on the Jabra Talk 15’s answer/end button to transferthe call to the headset.Activate voice dialling*- Press the answer/end button to activate the voice-dialingfunction in the mobile phone. Please consult your phoneuser manual for more info about using this feature.Redial last number*- Double tap the answer/end button when the headset ison and not used.Adjust sound and volume*- Tap the volume up or down to adjust the volume.Mute/un-mute- To mute, press both volume up and down at the sametime. A low beep alert plays during a muted call.- To un-mute, tap either of the volume buttons.Call waiting and placing a call on hold*- This lets you put a call on hold during a conversation andanswer a waiting call.* Phone dependent7

- Press the answer/end button to switch between the twocalls.- Tap the answer/end button to end the activeconversation.HOW THE STATUSDISPLAY WORKSBluetooth IndicatorENGLISH- Press the answer/end button once to put the active callon hold and answer the waiting call.Indicates if your headset is connected toyour phone- Solid light means headset is connected toyour phone- Flashing light means headset is in ‘pairingmode’ and ready to be connected to a newphoneBatteryIndicatorIndicates battery level and if headset is turnedON- Green light indicates that the headsethas more than 30 minutes of talk timeremaining- Red light indicates that the headsethas less than 30 minutes of talk timeremainingTo save battery the Jabra StatusDisplay is turned off after 3seconds. Get an instant status from the Jabra StatusDisplay by a tap on any button on the headset when you are not ona call.HOW THE VOICE GUIDANCE WORKSWhen your headset has established a connection to yourphone (or other Bluetooth device) the voice guidance willsay “connected”.When your headset has less than 30 minutes talk timeremaining the voice guidance will say “low battery”.When double tapping the MFB button on your headset toredial, the voice guidance will say ‘redialing.* Phone dependent8

Jabra Talk 15 is capable of having two mobile phones (orBluetooth devices) connected to the headset at the sametime. This will give you the freedom of having only oneheadset to operate both your mobile phones.In order to use the headset with two mobile phone pleasemake sure you have ”paired” the Jabra Talk 15 with bothphones. See the section “PAIRING IT WITH YOUR PHONE”for instructions.ENGLISHUSING JABRA TALK 15 WITH TWO MOBILEPHONESOnce you have “paired” your headset with two phonessimply make sure your headset is on, and that Bluetooth is enabled on the phones and the headset will thenautomatically connect to both phones.Please note that Last Number Redial will dial the numberfrom the last outgoing call, independent of the mobilephone, and the Voice Dialling function will only work on thelast paired mobile phone.TAKING CARE OF YOUR HEADSET- Always store the Jabra Talk 15 with the power off andsafely protected.- Avoid storage at extreme temperatures (above45 C/113 F – including direct sunlight – or below-10 C/14 F). This can shorten battery life and mayaffect operation. High temperatures may also degradeperformance.- Do not expose the Jabra Talk 15 to rain or other liquids.9
